Timothy L. Reed, 57, of 5773 S. U.S. 421, died at 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011, at his home.
Born Jan. 18, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of  Barbara Ann Moon Reed of Maumee, Ohio, and the late Grant “Dan” Reed. He graduated from Sylvania High School in 1972 and attended University of Arizona and Purdue University.
He married Lois Boyer on Oct. 25, 1980. She survives.
Mr. Reed had worked for Simon Construction in Battle Ground since 1985. He enjoyed golf, collecting antique lures and gardening and especially fishing.
Surviving with his wife and mother are a daughter, Lauren Reed of West Lafayette, and a sister, Mary Gardner (husband: Rick) of Swanton, Ohio.
Millie, the Chocolate Lab, was always faithful to Tim.
Calling Thursday, April 7, 2011, 4-7 p.m. with services at 7 p.m. at Bodine Funeral Home,  Rossville. Private burial. Memorials: National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, 1133 15th St. NW, Suite 1100, Washington, DC  20005.

I am so sorry to hear of cousin Tim's departing.
We are sorry for your loss.
I am sending these words of condolences as a recollection of some of my memories of Tim.
I remember Tim and his Father working on the Dune Buggy in the driveway;
I remember the sign above his teen years bedroom door with a tuft of hair on the bottom stating "Caution: Low Headroom";
I remember his scout troop searching for and returning a 'lost' boy as part of a training exercise while singing a Hermans Hermits song.
I hope others close to him can provide more vivid details of these memories, for memories are what is important!
